President: Our battle today with ignorance
[05/08/2018 08:28]

ADEN-SABA
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has said our battle today-before the military battle- is with ignorance, whether of the ignorant forces which rebelled against the state and caused all this damage or with the floundering forces which seek to hinder the state's job.

In an honorary party for the top students in Aden University on Sunday, PresidentHadi confirmed that our battle is also with the terrorist and extremist groups as the battle is basically with ignorance.

" Herewith, I address you and address through you all my children students across the homeland to double their care of learning and knowledge as they are the weapon of life and title of the future," he said.

He added:" Do not be deceived by today's real situation as ignorance is dominating and anyone owns the rifle has the force and this is false reality and no doubt will end … and science will remain the ruler of the future of Yemen, God willing."

President pointed out thatHouthi militia, which takes the human groups to the holocaust everyday, has a problem in knowledge and awareness and if they received good knowledge and enough awareness it would not have taken itself to death without any end or any issue.

That is the rebel militia, he added, is basically based on making the society ignorant and does not want it to learn and be enlightened, they want youth to memorize their handouts and recite their "cry" and you may follow up their continuous aggressions on schools, teachers and universities and their students and professors.

"You may also know how this frivolous militia threw away the most important document drafted by Yemenis with their wisdom, their experiments, the document, which is the most important one in Yemeni modern history, the document of the outcomes of the inclusive National Dialogue Conference," said the president.

He added that two years of preparations for dialogue and participation of all social categories and with regional and international support, the Yemeni people produced a document tackling their problems they inherited from the past and crystalized in a constitutionaldraft.

"After all these efforts and dream, Houthi militia rebelled against everything taking revenge onthe new Yemen, taking revenge on the generation of the national dialogue conference and change, taking revenge on the Yemenis' hope of living in peace, security and stability and a federal state based on the principles of partnership, coexistence, justice, freedom and dignity," he added.
While I am meeting this elite from professors and distinguished students, he said, I assure myself of the transitional capital of Aden, which is looking forward to living in dignity and safe life under a state as a demand of all.

This city has made more sacrifices and lived much pains and it is time to their people to live safe, it is time to Aden to become a mother to all and embracing all, it deserve from us gratitude and protecting its security and stability and services.

He stressed that the government and the presidency of the university must take full care of education and scientific research, pointing out that he will direct the government to allocate enough portion from the national income to the scientific research.

He urged that the universities to be given in priority of the new network launched from Aden for easing services of the scientific research.

He also directed grating the top students jobs in the university and in the state's administrative apparatus.
