The Chairman of the Coast Guard Authority Maj. General Khalid al-Qamali held talks today, Wednesday, with his Djiboutian counterpart Colonel Wa'is Omar on joint cooperation in maritime security, combat organized crime, prevent all forms of smuggling and protect navigation in the western Gulf of Aden, Bab el-Mandeb and southern Red Sea regions.

The two sides highlighted the importance of joining efforts and exchanging information to handle the security challenges in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden in order to ensure the security of the international navigation.
