Industrial production in Italy experienced an unexpected decline of 0.6 percent in January compared to December, according to seasonally and calendar-adjusted figures.
According to data from the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat), industrial production also recorded a decrease compared to the same period in January 2025 This drop marks the second consecutive monthly decrease, indicating a persistent slowdown in the Italian manufacturing sector.
