Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fishery Salem al-Soqatri greatly valued Dutch government's significant support for development drive in Yemen, mainly in the areas of water, agriculture and fishery.
" We deeply appreciate significant developmental assistance provided by the government of the Netherlands for Yemen. Dutch projects used to focus on sustainable development. This is very helpful", al-Soqatri said.
He expressed gratitude during his talks today, Thursday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Dutch delegation, headed by the First Secretary of the Water Resources Department at the Dutch Embassy in Yemen, Winnie van der, and the Embassy's advisor Job Klein.
The discussions on Dutch funded projects in the agricultural, water and fishery sectors, namely, the Integrated Water Management Project in Wadi Hajar funded by the Dutch government.
