The Crisis Cell discussed, in its meeting today, Monday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdel-Malik, the level of implementation of economic, financial and monetary measures in accordance with the presidential directives.
The meeting, which was held via videoconference, touched on the expected roles of the ministries and concerned authorities in implementing the approved procedures, integrating efforts to maintain the stability of the national economy, and not affecting the citizens' livelihood.
The meeting reviewed the procedures for issuing annual allowances for state employees for all public service units at the central and local levels, and the deferred units for the years 2014-2020, according to the decision of the Council of Ministers. In this regard, it stressed the need to expedite the completion of the procedures according to a fast track.
The Ministers of Planning and International Cooperation, Finance, Industry and Trade and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen presented reports on the measures and policies that have been implemented aimed at maintaining economic, monetary, service and commodity stability, in addition to preventing any side effects on vulnerable social groups.
