The Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Russian Federation Dr. Ahmed al-Wuhayshi met today, Tuesday, with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin.
They conferred over Yemeni-Russian bilateral cooperation and underway preparations for the meeting of the Yemeni-Russian Joint Economic Committee to be hosted by the Russian Federation.
The two sides affirmed willingness to further promote bilateral cooperation to serve the mutual interests of the two counties.
Al-Wuhyashi updated Vershinin on the developments in the Yemeni national arena.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated Moscow's support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government and political leadership.
