President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. Parliament headship discusses topical issues in the country

The Parliament leadership held session today, Saturday, chaired by the Speaker Sultan al-Barakani.

The session intended to discuss the developments in the national arena including the economic situations, peoples' living conditions and the measures have been taken by the High Economic Council, endorsed by the government.

The Parliament headship decided to transmit a letter to the government about this issue given that these measures did not take into account the hardships the citizens are struggling with, nor ensure the required alternatives for the government's employees and military personnel.

It also urged to make oil derivatives prices the same all over the country.

The Parliament headship reviewed the financial situations of the state, stressing the importance of depositing all public revenues into the state's general treasury to ensure regular salary pay of the civil service employees, military and pensioners.
