Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bajjash, discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Yemen the bilateral relations and prospects for enhancing mutual interests between the two countries.
Bajjash reviewed developments in the situation in Yemen and the continuation of the terrorist Houthi militia in undermining the chances of a peaceful political solution in Yemen, the Chinese support for the Yemeni people and their government, and the outcomes of the Arab-Chinese summit.
The deputy minister was briefed on the results of the visit of the Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy to Aden, praising the level of partnership and cooperation between Yemen and China in all aspects, and the importance of activating the areas of development support for Yemen, especially with regard to the areas of support for the interim capital, Aden, and the contribution to diversifying the areas of economic support for Yemen.
