The Council of Ministers devoted its session today presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik to discuss topical issues and top priorities in the areas of basic services, peoples' living conditions and economy.

The Cabinet has reviewed the implementation of the government's decisions and measures about the economic, administrative and basic services situations.

The outcomes of the diplomatic visits the temporary capital Aden has seen recently was elaborately discussed.

The Cabinet stated that the Presidential Leadership Council and government have agreed to extend the truce in order to alleviate the Yemeni peoples' suffering all over the country and give the UN-led efforts a chance to resume the political process to make peace in accordance with the agreed on three terms of peace reference.

The Cabinet reiterated its principled stance about the provisions of the extended truce, first and foremost open Taiz's roads and entrances.
