President chairs a meeting of senior state officials

President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi chaired a meeting of senior state officials this evening in the presence of his deputy Ali Mohsen Saleh, his advisors and the deputy premier, interior minister Maj. Hussein Arab.
The president reviewed some of the topics and developments on the national political landscape and the Arab and international support to Yemen based on the three agreed references for peace; the GCC Initiative, the National Dialogue Outcomes and the UN relevant resolutions especially resolution no. 2216.
The president familiarized the officials about his constructive recent meetings with the king of Saudi ArabiaSalman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the fruitful results and impact of the meeting on the unification of goals and destiny.
The president affirmed the importance of standing together and promoting coordination and cooperation toward the unification of ranks to stand to the external interferences and challenges.
The meeting noted that peace would remain a permanent and strategic choice for the government given the interests of the citizens bearing the worst suffering; coup militia-caused displacement, destruction and other suffering forms.
The vice president briefed the meeting on the combat operations in all warfronts and the achieved gains the army secured with backing from the Arab coalition forces.
The minister of interior presented an account on the performance of security authorities in Aden and other liberated parts of the country, hailed the improvements made thanks to coordination with the Arab coalition.
Other topics the meeting discussed included the health and living condition and the continuity of cooperation with the international community in fighting terrorism.
