WASHINGTON-SABA
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badhib, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Ahmed Al-Mabaqee, participated in the general session of the 2025 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C.
The session, attended by senior officials, ministers, and central bank governors from around the world, discussed global economic challenges, strategic directions for the World Bank Group and IMF, and ways to support member countries in addressing economic and developmental challenges.
The discussion focused on priorities for joint action to achieve sustainable development, address poverty and fragility, promote inclusive economic growth, and support countries affected by crises and conflicts.
