His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met today, Thursday, with the Governor of Lahij governorate Murad al-Halimi to review the situations in the governorate.
Al-Halimi reported to al-Alim about the local authority's plans and ongoing efforts to establish security, stability and improve the basic services, as well as the challenges need to be managed and pressing needs that must be addressed.
The President praised the significant efforts of the local authority to normalize the situations and improve the basic services, stressing the importance of close cooperation with the state and government leadership to combat corruption, improve and regulate revenues.
The Chairman of the PLC urged doubling down efforts to improve the local investment environment, protect state lands and properties, maintain security and stability.
Establishing security and stability in the government-held governorates is very important to restore the state institutions, he stressed .
