Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik affirmed the government's full support for the judicial authority in all its institutions, and its support in order to carry out its full legal and constitutional role, especially in the issues of combating administrative and financial corruption, preserving public money and strengthening the rule of law.
During his visit today to the Supreme Judicial Council in the interim capital, Aden, and meeting with the President of the Council, Judge Mohsen Talib, members of the Council, President of the Supreme Court, Judge Ali Al-Awash, Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Ardah, and Attorney General, Judge Qahir Mustafa, the Prime Minister renewed the keenness of the state and government on the independence of the judiciary from any interference.
He pointed out that the government will work in cooperation with the Supreme Judicial Council in order to find solutions to preserve the prestige of the judiciary and preserve human rights and the dignity of litigants.
The premier stressed the importance of integrating roles between the executive authority and the judicial authority, in order to achieve justice and enforce the law, noting the efforts made by the Supreme Judicial Council to activate the performance of courts and prosecution offices, implement the judicial movement and activate judicial inspection work, in a way that serves the interest of citizens and preserves their rights.. stressing the government's commitment to providing the needs of the judicial authority within the framework of the available capabilities, and the importance of the cohesion of all authorities to overcome the current exceptional stage.
The Prime Minister was briefed by the President and members of the Supreme Judicial Council on the most important needs of the judicial authority, especially with regard to infrastructure, in addition to the challenges facing it, and the mechanisms of cooperation between the executive and judicial authorities in all common specializations.
The meeting stressed the importance of providing the needs of the judicial authority to enable it to carry out its duties and responsibilities in preserving public rights and freedoms, and improving the justice services provided to citizens.
The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, the President of the Supreme Court and the Attorney General spoke, who reviewed efforts to activate the judiciary in the various liberated governorates, in addition to the judicial movement and efforts to combat corruption and activate the judicial inspection apparatus.
