Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ahmad Binmubarak received Wednesday the Chief of International Organization for Migration's Mission in Yemen Christa Rottensteiner discussing the organization's services to refugees and displaced people.

Foreign minister expressed government's appreciation to the organization for its activities in Yemen, confirming that it will get care from the government for facilitating its activities.

He pointed out to government's priorities in its future plan and the organization's possible support to humanitarian programs and projects.

He touched upon US Administration's decision of blacklisting Houthi militia as terrorist organization and steps taken by the government to keep humanitarian and relief domains away of effects of the decision.

He pointed out that designating Houthis as terrorist must get international consensus embarking on Houthi militia terrorist approach of killing civilians and committing war crimes worse than crimes of IS and al-Aqaeda, the recent one was the terrorist attack on Aden International Airport, which targeted the government and killed and injured dozens of civilians.

" The attack was an attempt for assassinating peace and failing all UN and international efforts in this field and the international community must understand Houthi militia continues implementing Iranian agenda for blackmailing the international community, neglecting suffering of Yemeni people," said FM.

Binmubarak was acquainted with a report on the organization's activities in Yemen and projects it carried out in the past across the country, especially in Marib, which has big numbers of displaced people.

The IOM's official warned of possible humanitarian disaster in Marib over increasingly fighting as the province received more than 100 thousand displaced people since January 2020 and are in bad need of basic services.

She also thanked the government for the services it provides to African refugees despite hard economic conditions.

She reviewed future projects of the organization and coordination with the government in different fields.
