Under-Secretary of Interior Ministry Maj. General Mohammed Mussaed al-Amir has stressed that policewomen have a pivotal role to do in different police centers and security services units.
" The Ministry pays special attention to policewomen, keen to promote their role in security services", he said.
His remarks came during his discussions today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden with the First Secretary at the Netherlands Embassy to the Republic of Yemen and her accompanying delegation.
The conversations covered topics relating to the women police, tasks, challenges and the needed support to upgrade its action.
Al-Amir highly appreciated Dutch support for the women police in our country.
The Dutch diplomat stated that her government will continue to support the School of Women Police to develop its programs and capacities.
