The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Monday the National Committee to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights.

The Chairman of the Committee Judge Ahmad Saeed al-Muflihi handed over President al-Alimi a copy of the eleventh report of the committee.

President al-Alimi listen to a complete review from the chairman and members of the committee on activities of the committee during the period from August 2022 to August 2023 in field of monitoring, investigation and referral to justice, as well as visiting detentions and locations witnessed falling of civilian victims.

President al-Alimi hailed extension work of the Chairman and Members of the National Committee for another two years in accordance with the recent Republican Decree, praising efforts of the committee's team.

He directed the government and concerned bodies to facilitate the work of the National Committee and movements of its monitors.
