His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) said that "The Houthi terrorist militias are the ones who started this war and opted to the escalation as their path, but our armed forces, with the will of our people and the support of our brothers, are the ones who will end it in a way that fulfills the Yemenis' aspirations to restore their state, security, freedom, and dignity".

The President went on saying " The operations will go according to plan, with steadiness and responsibility, aiming to restore state institutions and the capital Sana'a, eliminate the coup, and put a final stop to the cycle of war and suffering caused by the Iranian regime allied terrorist militias".

His remark came during his contacts today, Thursday, with the members of the PLC, Minister of Defense, the General Chief of Staff and the senior military commanders who are leading the combat operations against the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias.

President al-Alimi, the Chairman of the PLC, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held extensive consultations about the developments in the battlefields in Taiz governorate.

He was briefed by members of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman al-Mahrami and General Mahmoud al-Subaihi, as well as the Minister of Defense, Chief of Staff, Commander of the Fourth Military Region and the senior military and security commanders in the governorate on the developments on various fronts in the governorate and the measures taken to deal with attacks and infiltration attempts carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia over the past hours.
