MASAM extracts 1,254 Houthi-laid landmines in fourth week of October

The Saudi mine action program MASAM extracted during the fourth week of October 1,254 Houthi-laid landmines, planted in different parts of Yemen. In a statement issued on Monday, MASAM said its experts have unearthed “nine anti-personnel landmines, 105 anti-tank mines and 1,139 UXOs and devised explosives.

Shabwa govt licenses first industrial projects

The local government of Shabwa has licensed the first industrial projects to be set up in the eastern province. Factories of fiberglass and light medical tools & cosmetics, in addition to a gas station will be set up in the province’s assigned First Industrial Zone as three separate investments. The three of them will cost YR 600 million.
