The Chargé d' Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Yemen Shao Zheng reiterated his country's firm position on the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen.
Speaking at a press conference held today, Thursday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, he restated that the People's Republic of China supports international efforts and the efforts of the UN envoy to reach a peaceful solution through political dialogue.
He highlighted the deep and strong Yemeni-Chinese relations, noting that Beijing is very keen to further boost cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The Chinese diplomat cited the outcomes of his recent visit to several Yemeni governorates.
He stated that his country's willing to cooperate with the Yemeni government in supporting the energy, electricity and roads sectors, in a way that contributes to strengthening bilateral relations and security and stability in Yemen.
Mr. Zhao Zheng Chen explained that his country's recent efforts are based on its firm stance on Yemen's unity, promoting dialogue and returning to the negotiating table for all parties in a way that achieves security and stability for the Yemeni people.
He affirmed that the People's Republic of China is keen to continue joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries in various fields.
