KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to remove more than 1400 landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the 4th week of February of 2021.
The Center reported that "MASAM" extracted 21 anti-personnel, 391 anti-tanks landmines and 1015 UXOs and one an explosive device.
These landmines laid-down by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different parts of Yemen.
MASAM has demined 220,352 landmines since it has started its demining mission.
