Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Sa'eed al-Jaber, the General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for Development and Construction in Yemen and his accompanying delegation who are currently visiting Aden.
The discussions covered a range of topics relating to the situations in the national arena including the Saudi mediation to renew the truce, establish peace, the development projects funded by the KSA and the reforms programs the government are working on.
The two sides stressed on the importance of the Saudi Initiative to establish peace in Yemen and put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
The Prime Minister underscored the need for accelerating the package of support pledged by the KSA to help the government to improve the basic services and ensure the electricity supply.
He stated that the KSA's continuous support for the government at this critical stage is very essential to manage the challenges.
Dr. Ma'een expressed deep gratitude to the KSA for its supportive stance in support of the Yemeni peoples in different circumstances and stages, highly appreciating the Saudi significant support political, economic, military, development and humanitarian fields.
The Saudi Ambassador reaffirmed the KSA's support for the Yemeni peoples, to restore the State's institutions, achieve security and stability.
