Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Daari, discussed with the United Nations delegation headed by the United Nations Resident Representative and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, David Gressly, a number of issues of common concern.

The meeting discussed the disastrous situation resulting from the Houthi militia's planting of mines, the situation of the Safer oil tanker and the effects of the militia's intransigence in preventing its maintenance, as well as the suffering of prisoners in the prisons of the terrorist Houthi militia.

The Minister of Defense briefed the UN delegation on the security and military situation in light of the Houthi terrorist militia's continuous mobilization of various combat fronts, targeting army positions on more than one front, and the continuation of smuggling of weapons and Iranian experts to support the militias, in parallel with the implementation of the terrorist organizations Al Qaeda and ISIS, a number of terrorist acts to disturb security in the liberated provinces.

The Minister of Defense said, "The terrorist Houthi militia is planting mines indiscriminately and in huge numbers, from which Yemen will suffer for decades to come, at a time when the armed forces are committed to international and humanitarian norms and conventions, taking into account not using and planting mines because of their devastating effects on people and the land."..emphasizing that the National Mine Action Center has destroyed hundreds of thousands of mines extracted with the cooperation and support of the Saudi mine action program of "Masam".
