ADEN-SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani has said seizing new Iranian weapons shipment by the UK Marine Forces in their way to Houthi terrorist militia confirms Iranian regime's blatant violation to international resolutions.
The seized weapons shipment includes anti-tank missiles and medium range ballistic rockets.
"The joint marine forces has been able to carry out seven objection operations during the three past months and seized 5000 weapon pieces, 1.6 million shells, 7000 rocket detonators, 2100 Kg. of fuel used for rockets, 30 anti-tank rockets, guided missiles and components of ballistic rockets," he said in a statement to Saba on Thursday.
He pointed out that this Iranian escalation of smuggling weapons to Houthi terrorist militia confirms its plots in aborting international efforts for appeasement and reviving Humanitarian Truce.
Praising efforts of the joint marine forces led by US Marines and UK Marine Forces for foiling smuggling the weapon shipment, Minister al-Eryani demanded international firm position and serious steps towards Iranian military activities threatening international security and peace.
