Aljawf governor meets US ambassador

The Governor of Aljawf Governorate, Major General Hussein Al-Aji Al-Awadi, met with the US Ambassador to our country, Steven Fagin, and discussed with him developments on the national scene and the conditions of Aljawf Governorate under the control of the Houthi militia.

The governor of Aljawf stressed the importance of the American role in light of the intransigence of the Houthi militia and its targeting of civilians and the vital interests of the Yemeni people with ballistic missiles and drones, and the need for the United States and the international community to play the desired role and take serious positions regarding the crimes of the Houthi militia.

For his part, the US ambassador congratulated Al-Awadi on his appointment as governor of Aljawf, wishing him success in his duties.
