Yemen's Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned the continuation of the terrorist Houthi militia affiliated with Iran, in its systematic targeting of residential neighborhoods in the city of Taiz, with artillery and sniper shells, which resulted in the death of a civilian and the injury of 6 children, most of whom had amputated limbs, in separate attacks on the western neighborhood of the city.
He explained that Houthi artillery shelling on the home of Sahem al-Amiri in the Old Airport neighborhood resulted in his death, and the injury of his two children, Sami and Amir, "his leg was amputated." and his brother Hashem Al-Majnahi, and another citizen was wounded by sniper bullets in the Al-Shaqab area.
Al-Eryani stressed that the heinous crimes and daily killings committed by the terrorist Houthi militia against civilians of children and women in the "besieged" city of Taiz and other Yemeni cities will not go unpunished, and that those responsible for them from the leaders and militia members will be held accountable for what their sinful hands committed.
He called on the international community, the United Nations, UN and US envoys and human rights organizations to condemn the brutal killings of civilians as crimes against humanity and war crimes, and to work immediately to put the Houthi militia on international terrorism lists, and to prosecute its leaders as "war criminals."
