Yemen army, popular supporters thwart new Houthi attack in Marib

Yemen’s armed forces and popular supporters have thwarted a new attack by Houthi militiamen on Marib governorate in east the country.
The Defense Ministry’s website said the army and supporters killed and injured dozens of Houthi militiamen who sought to advance into the governorate through al-Kassarah, one of many fronts along the governoate’s borders.
The army destroyed military vehicles the militia used in the attack.
