Planning ministry calls for rescuing millions of displaced people in Marib

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation has called all Yemen's partners and international and regional organizations to quickly intervene to rescue millions of displaced people, who sought shelters in Marib over Houthi militia's tyranny in other provinces.

In a release issued Tuesday, the ministry confirmed necessity of speeding up increasing humanitarian interventions in Marib for meeting increasing needs by displaced people and providing shelter and basic services.

The ministry said it is following up complicated situations in Marib, warning of continuation of Houthi militia's violence in the province to avoid severe humanitarian crisis.

It confirmed readiness to provide all necessary facilitations to these organizations, pointing out that the imminent response by donors and international organization will be respected.
