The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Nayef al-Hajraf has denounced the terrorist attack, which targeted Aden Airport during the arrival of the new government.
The attack took lives and injured a number of people.
Al-Hajraf confirmed GCC's solidarity with the government of Yemen for realizing aspirations of Yemeni people and boosting security, stability and development on the bases of the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
Condemning strongly the terrorist attack, al-Hajraf called upon the international community to shoulder responsibilities and hold accountable those who stand behind this attack, which aims at hindering all international efforts for ending Yemen's crisis and realizing security and stability in the country.
