ADEN - SABA
The Yemeni Government has denounced Houthi militia for plundering the revenues of oil imports fees which were deposited in the branch of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) in Hodeidah.
The amount of oil imports fees is estimated at 35 billion Yemeni Rial ( YR) were meant to be used to pay civil service's employees.
The Foreign Ministry issued statement today, Monday, in which it described this action as blatant breach of the UN sponsored understandings reached last year about the temporary measures to import oil to Hodeidah seaport.
The Ministry held Houthi militia accountable for spoiling those understandings, calling on the UN to bear its responsibility considering that it is the supervisor and the supporter of those temporary measures.
