PM follow up ongoing efforts to manage Pavan cyclone's effects in Socotara

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik has given directives to authorities in charge to provide emergency amount of funds to help local authorities in Socotra Archipelagos to cope with the impacts of the tropical cyclone Pavan which resulted in heavy rainfalls and floods in the archipelagos over the past couple of days.

Ma'eenconducted a phone call today, Saturday, with Governor of Socotra RamziMahroos to get familiar with the underway efforts have been made by the local authority and the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction to manage the consequences of the heavy floods.
