Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.
The Arab Coalition backing Yemen's government against Houthis shot down on Tuesday an unmanned drone the Yemeni coupist militia had launched from Sana'a to attack civilian places in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The drone was however downed while still in the Yemeni airspace.
The Coalition's spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki said, "All the vehement attempts by the Iran-backed terrorist militia of Houthis to launch drone attacks end up as a failure."
In a statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency, al-Maliki said the Coalition applies "best rules of engagement in warding off the threat of these drones to civilians."
