GCC's Humanitarian Aids Coordination Office discuss humanitarian situations in Yemen

GCC's Relief and Humanitarian Aids Coordination Office held its 27th session Thursday in KSrelief Center HQ in Riyadh.
The meeting devoted to discuss the humanitarian situations in Yemen and relief and humanitarian actions.
Deputy Minister of Local Administration—Deputy Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee—Abdulsalam Ba-Abood presented a detailed report about the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
He commenced with the situations in Al-Maharhah province which has suffered huge damages as a result of the Luban tropical storm. He noted that primary estimation of the damages put the total amount of loses at $650 million.
Ba-Abood expressed appreciation for the GCC's member states' contribution to the relief and humanitarian operations in Al-Maharah and elsewhere throughout Yemeni provinces.
Discussions touched upon what has already been provided of humanitarian assistance and the future's plans and projects to be carried out.
