Yemen, UAE discuss health support

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. NaserBa'oum discussed with the UAE State Minister for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimi on Tuesday health situation in Yemen and needed projects to rehabilitate it after being destroyed by Houthi militia.

The meeting tackled great efforts exerted by the UAE Red Crescent for supporting health sector and contribution on combating epidemics in the framework of development programs and plans carried out by the UAE Red Crescent for improving health care.

Ba'oum praised UAE support to Yemen in these difficult conditions over Houthi war on the state, confirming that the Yemeni people will not forget this position to the UAE.

For her part, the UAE official reconfirmed her country's support to Yemeni people in different fields.
