President Hadi receives chief of IOC

RIYADH-SABA

President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Thursday the Secretary General of the Islamic Organization of Cooperation (IOC) Dr Yousif Al-Othaimen.

Aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the IOC were discussed during the meeting.

President Hadi briefed Dr Al-Othaimen on the latest developments and situations in Yemen; explaining tough hardships the Yemeni people have been suffering because of the consequences of the warfare waged by Iran-backed Houthi militia.

Hadi assured that Iranian-experiment that Iran promotes through the Houthi putschist militia won't be accepted by the Yemeni people who collectively will stand up to it.

The President of the Republic highly praised the noble stances of brethren in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in supporting the legitimacy in Yemen.

Dr Al-Othaimen reiterated the IOC's commitment to support the legitimate Yemeni government headed by President Hadi.

Deputy Premier, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi was in attendance.
