The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

VP discuses developments in the capital Sana'a

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met on Thursday the minister of state, mayor of the capital Sana'a Maj. General Abdulghani Jameel.

During the meeting (Lt Gen) Mohssen discussed with the mayor the developments relating to the situations in the capital Sana'a where the population are suffering under the yoke of Iran-backed Houthi militia control.

The Vice President applauded the capital residents' resistance against the Houthi militia atrocities, urging more communications with all political constituencies leaders to align themselves with the legal government and leadership.

The meeting also touched upon the advancements have been gained by the armed forces backed by the Saudi-led Coalition forces in different front-lines battles against the rebellious militia.

The Vice President urged joining efforts and mobilizing resources for defeating the coup d'état and go on establishing the Yemeni Federal State of six provinces
