Minister of Water and Environment Abdulkarim Ezzi Shuraim visited on Sunday the Regional Center for Training and Water Studies here for following up programs Yemeni water cadre are trained on.
Shuraim met with the the Head of JICA Regional Director in Egypt and Yemen and Director of Central Management for Implementing Program s in the Regional Center for Training and Water Studies Amal Saeed.
The program is financed by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and targets 45 trainers distributed on three specialized groups; Civil, Geology and Administrative Group. The trainees are subjected to intensive training by experts from Egyptian Universities, water ministry and research centers.
The program lasts for five months from October, 16, 2017 to February, 16, 2018.
Minister Shuraim urged trainees to make use of the program and exert more efforts for benefiting and translating this benefit on the ground.
