The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate met today, Thursday, with United Kingdom to the Republic of Yemen Abda Sharif.
They discussed aspects of Yemeni-British bilateral cooperation and the developments in the Yemeni national arena.
The talks also covered a number of political, economic and humanitarian challenges and the government's ongoing efforts to manage the economic hardships and improve basic services.
Al-Arada underlined the need for supporting the state institutions and enabling them to do their job effectively, offering basic services and easing the humanitarian suffering created by the Iranian regime backed Terrorist Houthi Militias.
He also highlighted the importance of furthering the partnership with the international community to sustain the government's efforts to carry out the reforms and manage the accumulated challenges.
The British Ambassador stated that her country is interested in supporting Yemen and the economic reforms to boost the chances for stability.
