ADEN – SABA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist sabotage plot that the Ministry of Interior of the State of Kuwait announced it had foiled yesterday, Monday.
The plot was a criminal attempt aimed at undermining its security and stability, and recruiting individuals for terrorist organizations linked to external agendas.
In a statement, the Ministry affirmed firm and unwavering solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the State of Kuwait—its leadership, government, and people—in confronting everything that targets its security, sovereignty and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
It also praised the high competence and vigilance of Kuwaiti security agencies in thwarting this criminal plot.
The Ministry further stated that this terrorist attempt comes within the context of sabotage operations led by known regional actors led by the Iranian regime, which continues to support and sponsor armed networks and organizations operating outside the law, supplying them with funding, weapons, and training.
This, it noted, constitutes a direct threat to the security and stability of countries in the region and a blatant violation of the principles of sovereignty and good neighborliness.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Republic of Yemen’s firm stance in condemning all forms of terrorism and extremism, and its absolute rejection of any external interference in the internal affairs of states. It also called on the international community to take a more decisive position.
The Ministry emphasized that the security of the State of Kuwait is an integral part of the security of the Arab region, and that any threat to it is a threat to collective security, which necessitates strengthening coordination and joint cooperation to confront and deter all threats.
