The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami received today, Thursday, in transitional capital Aden, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed al-Zaabi and his accompanying delegation.
Yemeni-Emirati bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the talks.
Al-Mahrami expressed deep thanks and gratitude for the Emirati significant support for our country and its funding the projects in different areas, most recent of all is the inauguration of the solar energy project in Shabwa governorate and putting the foundation stone for the second phase of the solar energy project in the temporary capital Aden.
He described the Emirati-funded projects as of paramount importance for the Yemeni people and the stability in the country at this critical stage.
The PLC's Member said the UAE has embodied through "significant sacrifices and noble blood, as well as service projects in our country,' the depth of the relationship between the two brotherly peoples".
The Emirati Ambassador reiterated his country's steadfast position in supporting our country and its readiness to continue providing the necessary support in vital areas and improving basic services, which contributes to enhancing the path of stability and development.
