Basyhayb, WFP discuss plans of 2024 and procedures for civil aviation security promotion

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhayb and the acting director of the World Food Program Office Muhammad Sheikh discussed here today WFP's plans for the year 2024 and the draft priority list on projects adopted by the joint committee with the WFP.
The deputy minister and the WFP official emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation while implementing humanitarian and development interventions.
In a separate meeting, Basuhyab also discussed with the director of the Civil Aviation Security Enhancement Project of Valar Organization Luay Ishaqat the procedures related to the rehabilitation and maintenance of Aden International Airport, and coordination with authorities in Aden over that project.
