Yemen has participated in the 27th session of the Council of Arab Ministers for Communications and Information Technology, held in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.
Yemen was represented by a delegation headed by its Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, the Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Waed Badhib.
The session discusses the results of the 44th meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Posts, the results of the 52nd meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Communications and Information, and a number of topics related to enhancing the role of the communications and information technology sector in supporting the development trends and plans of Arab countries.
Badhib said, "The Yemeni government is looking forward to enhancing ways of joint Arab cooperation and working together according to visions and goals that are compatible with Arab efforts to obtain innovative digital services and technologies that keep pace with the aspirations of the Arab peoples during the coming period."
