Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Wednesday, Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.
They conferred over bilateral ties between the two friendly countries, the developments about the Yemeni situations and the UN-led efforts aimed to launch an inclusive political process to eliminate the coup, restore the state's institutions based on the outcomes of the good offices of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the terms of the peace references agreed on nationally, regionally and internationally.
The conversations touched upon the developments in the region and the brutal Israeli war against the Palestinian people and its disastrous repercussions on the international peace security including militarizing the Red Sea by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias and the militias' threats to the freedom of the international maritime navigation.
The President reiterated the commitment of the PLC and the government to fair and comprehensive peace option and to support the efforts of the UN's Special Envoy to end the humanitarian suffering created by the Iranian regime-allied terrorist Houthi militias.
The Chairman of the PLC recalled the continuous intransigence by the Houthi militias toward the peace efforts, including the militias' rejection of all initiatives to pay the salaries of the public sector employees and the continuation of the militia's grave violations of human rights, its military escalation in various flashpoints, moreover its terrorist attacks on oil facilities and the international shipping lanes that requires firm stances by the international community.
