Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sultan Al-Barakani, today sent a message of condolences to his Libyan counterpart, Aguila Saleh, over the fall of victims in the hurricane disaster that struck Libya, which left a large number of victims and large material losses.
Al-Barakani said in the telegram, “It is with great sadness and sorrow that we followed what Libya was exposed to in terms of the hurricane disaster and the loss of lives, destruction of property, and blocking of all paths, and the deaths and injuries left behind.
We … address to you our deepest condolences and great sympathy for this great calamity and what your country is going through in this situation.” He prayed for God's mercy upon the victims and speedy recovery for the injured.
