Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, discussed with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program the partnership in efforts to move from emergency programs to development plans and projects within the framework of the general direction of the government's priorities and program, and the importance of focusing on sustainable development projects.
The meeting, which was held via visual communication technology, discussed the program's future plans in the water and environment sectors, and the coordination mechanism with the ministry's sectors in this aspect, including the comprehensive water approach strategy, the climate and energy strategy, the Straw Delta project and the upper delta regions in the governorates of Taiz and Lahj.
