Chief of Staff praises UK position supporting Yemen

Chief of Staff, the Commander of the Joint Operations General Lieutenant Sagheer bin Aziz has praised Position of the United Kingdom towards Yemen's issue and supporting the government on realizing real peace on the bases of the national and international references.

In his meeting with a UK Delegation headed by the Military Attache in the British Embassy in Yemen, bin Aziz said the danger of the terrorist Houthi militia does not threaten only Yemen but also the whole world, pointing out to Houthi threats to international navigation.

He confirmed that the terrorist militia's network supported by Iran has no will for peace as its agenda is killing and destruction, pointing out to Houthi militia's continuous attacks on Marib.

He also discussed with the UK delegation situations in Yemen.

For his part, the UK military attaché confirmed his country's position supporting the government of Yemen and keenness of his leadership on improving historical relations between British Army and Yemeni Mlitary Forces.

He praised security and stability and remarkable development in Marib.
