His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Head of the Presidential Command, visited today, Tuesday, the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, where he was received by the Commander of the Joint Forces, Deputy Chief of the Saudi General Staff, Lieutenant-General Mutlaq bin Salem Al-Azima .

During the visit, the Chairman of the Presidential Command Council listened to a briefing on joint operations and coordination mechanisms with the Yemeni interior and the countries of the coalition to support legitimacy. He also exchanged with the Joint Forces Command, ideas related to strengthening cooperation and support for the Yemeni forces

The visit also touched on a brief assessment of the course of the existing armistice, the violations of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, and the Yemeni army's continued commitment to restraint, in order to ensure the success of international efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the country.

The President of the Presidential Command Council praised the role of the leadership of the coalition forces, and the great sacrifices made by the brothers, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in defense of the aspirations of the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership, alleviating their human suffering, and supporting development and reconstruction efforts in Yemen.
