Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik reviewed with US Special Envoy to Yemen Tim Lenderking, the latest developments on the national scene in various aspects, in light of the dangerous escalation of Iran's proxies the latest of which was the terro attack on vital interests in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

During a phone call today, the two sides stressed the importance of taking a firm stance towards this dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region and the world, and undermines all steps aimed at bringing peace to Yemen.
They also discussed the continued military escalation of the Houthi militia against civilians and Yemeni displaced persons, and the government's efforts to deal with various challenges, foremost of which are economic and humanitarian, and the international support required in this aspect.

Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik stressed that the persistence of the terrorist Houthi militia and the Iranian regime behind it in its crimes against civilian objects and civilians in Yemen and neighboring countries, the fall of innocent victims and endangering vital interests, put the international community face to face with its responsibility to support the government and the Arab coalition to end this danger and complete the restoration of the Yemeni state and end the Houthi coup. He said that the Iranian regime sees Yemen as nothing more than a launch pad for air, land and sea attacks to destabilize security and stability in the region and the world and threaten international navigation.

The Prime Minister indicated that these criminal acts of the Houthi militias entitle them to be listed among terrorist organizations, and necessitates that the international community deals with them from this perspective, and to put more pressure on them to stop their terrorism.
