Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Awadh Bin Mubarak discussed Monday with Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde mutual relations between the two countries, latest developments in Yemen and horizons of political solution.

Bin Mubarak thanked the Kingdom of Sweden for its interests in situations in Yemen, support to the internationally recognized government and efforts for realizing peace, holding Houthi militia responsible on hindering all that efforts.

He pointed out to Iranian negative role and support of Iranian regime to Houthi militia's stubbornness for stopping the war.

He touched upon past significant lessons in dealing with Houthi militia to avoid the same mistakes, calling for more pressure on the militia and Iranian Regime to deal responsibly with peace initiatives and accept peaceful solution.

He confirmed the government's commitment for realizing permanent and inclusive peace in Yemen on the bases of the three internationally agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council's Resolution 2216.

He highlighted implementation of the rest articles of Riyadh Agreement, especially military and security supplementary for realizing stability the government needs for carrying out its tasks and provide services to citizens.

For her part, the Swedish minister expressed her country's support to Yemen to overcome its crisis and realizing peace and regaining order.

She also expressed support to Yemen's unity and sovereignty, confirming continuous efforts for ending the war and tackling the crisis' aftermaths.
