RIYADH - SABA
The President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi issued an appeal to the International Community (IC) to support the government's efforts to manage the economic hardships, maintain national currency' s value, alleviate the Yemeni peoples suffering as a result of Iran-allied Houthi theocratic militia's coup and war.

Addressing virtually the 75th session of the UN General Assembly on Thursday, he launched an appeal to the IC to help Yemen and the Yemeni people to put down Houthi militia's coup, act urgently and seriously to avert a looming environmental disaster of Safer oil tanker.

In his speech the President cited the Yemeni peoples' suffering due to Houthi militia's coup and war, the government's efforts to manage the country's challenges and put an end of the war and- re-establish peace.

He said "This is the six times in which the UN General Assembly session convened while we're in the Republic of Yemen have been experiencing unspeakable tough circumstances because of the ongoing war imposed upon our people by Houthi militia and its regional sponsor 'Iran' ".

President Hadi went on saying" we've extended our hands to peace, exerted our utmost efforts to support the UN-led peace process and the UN's Special Envoy Martin Griffith's peace proposals in order to save the country and stop bloodshed and establish comprehensive and sustainable peace. Simply because our Yemeni people will never accept the Iranian experiment on the Yemeni land".

He blamed Houthi militia for blocking all peace efforts and initiatives." Regretfully, all efforts and good offices for peace rejected by Houthi militia and its baker-the Iranian regime" said Hadi.

The President of the Republic voiced thanks and gratitude to the UN's Secretary General Antonio Guterres, his special envoy Martin Griffiths for their sincere efforts aimed to reach sustainable peace in Yemen.
