The Supreme Emergency Committee or (SEC) for fighting coronavirus discussed Monday latest developments of the pandemic and reports on losses over floods and efforts for dealing with them.
Presided over by Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik, the committee discussed instructions the travelers should abide by to get PSR test before travelling and mechanisms to be followed.
The committee touched upon latest developments of corona pandemic, situations of quarantine centers and support provided to the government for boosting health services.
Prime minister stresses doubling efforts and all ministries should shoulder their responsibilities, especially under current challenges of possible new wave of the pandemic and damages caused by floods.
He confirmed that the government will provide every possible support for dealing with damages caused by the floods, protecting souls and opening roads.
For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Salim al-Khanbashi, the Head of the Committee, provided a report on the general situation of corona pandemic and latest statistics on suspected cases, infected cases, dead and recovered cases, pointing out to coordination for to overcome a number of challenges regarding health capabilities and measures for implementing precautionary measures.
The committee also discussed a review damages caused by floods and Marib Dam's flood for the first time since its construction and expected damages.
